About Me - Rabbi Eli Steier
I am an Orthodox Jewish rabbi offering contemplative practices rooted within the bounds of halacha (Jewish law). My work is dedicated to helping people cultivate greater awareness of G‑d—referred to in Judaism as Hashem—and to live with increased presence, humility, integrity, and authenticity in daily life.
I have been a serious student of Jewish meditation since 2013, including the participation in meditation retreats and daily practice. I have experienced first-hand the transformative power of Jewish meditation, and have been blessed to teach this practice to others, in both Israel and America.
I grew up in Queens, NY, the most diverse county in the United States, and attended the Bronx High School of Science. I have a Master's degree in English Education and am ordained through Machon Smicha. Throughout my journey I have learned much from people of all different backgrounds, and I aim to approach each individual with respect and open-heartedness.
I am excited to learn and grow with you!
